Our Mission Statement

The Welcome to America Project is a nonprofit organization that creates community connections and builds bridges of neighborly understanding by providing furniture, basic necessities, education, and additional resources to newly arriving refugees.

We offer a simple welcoming gesture, but it is one that lasts a lifetime.

The Welcome to America Project (WTAP) is a grassroots organization that relies 100% on individual contributions, every penny of which serves refugees coming to the US from war-torn countries. Volunteers just like you support WTAP through fun and creative projects. These projects not only work to educate the community, they also raise funds that help provide household necessities for refugee families across the Valley.
