WTAP volunteers range from age 6-76, come from all faiths and bring a myriad of talents. But they all share a common desire to welcome our new neighbors to this wonderful country.

Volunteers can work for WTAP in many ways. We need volunteers to donate, deliver, raise money, enter data, and more. Why not donate the talents you've developed in your career? Be creative and tell us how we can use your gifts!

Sponsor a Family,
Furnish a Home!

For a donation of just $200, WTAP can furnish an apartment for a refugee family of 4!
Please sponsor one or more families today and fill their homes with high quality furniture, utensils, linens, art and other essential home supplies.

With your help, we can continue to furnish 3-5 homes each Saturday! Click below - it's tax deductible!

REMEMBER: All Cash Donations to WTAP qualify for a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your Arizona State Taxes, as part of The Aid to the Working Poor Tax Credit Campaign in Arizona. Couples filing jointly can claim a dollar-for-dollar credit for up to $400.00 while individuals can claim up to $200.00. In addition, your donation is deductible on your federal taxes as well! Note: You CAN TAKE THIS CREDIT IN ADDITION TO THE Arizona School Tax Credits.

Donated household goods are collected by WTAP and delivered directly to the refugees. Call today to schedule a pick-up at your home!

Note to Corporations: WE DO NOT SELL CORPORATE IN-KIND DONATIONS! THESE ITEMS ARE CAREFULLY TRACKED AND GO DIRECTLY TO THE REFUGEE FAMILIES IN PHOENIX. We want them to have the best.

Donate Your Time
You can volunteer to help us:

1. Delivery: Deliver furniture and household items to new refugee families -join us on Saturdays from 9am to 2pm. Call Carolyn to schedule at 602-820-3224
2. Storage Upkeep: Keep our storage units organized and ready for deliveries- join us weekly on Tuesday mornings from 9am-12pm. Call Carolyn to schedule at 602-820-3224.
3. Donation Drive: We can bring our truck to your church or community group at the time of your choosing!
4. Back office help: Carry out administrative work, sometimes from your home! We have jobs in excel spread sheets, creating name tags, making flyers, writing letters, help us maintain our data base, and making phone calls to our volunteers. This can be done any day -you can choose. Call Carolyn to schedule at 602-820-3224.
5. Home Visits: Go with another team member and interview our newly referred families to greet them and make a list of what they need for their home. There are a number of teams, so the commitment can be as little as once every two months or as often as every month.
