WTAP only gathers personally identifiable data on our site, such as names, addresses, Zip/postal codes, e-mail addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by a visitor.

WTAP has no control over or responsibility for the data collection and use practices of third parties that process online transactions.  For example, if you make a purchase on our site using authorize.net or similar account of a third party payment provider, certain information is transmitted to the payment provider and is subject to the third party’s own privacy policy.

PHOTO RELEASE

When volunteers sign in at their volunteer event, they agree to the release of their photo to WTAP for purposes of promoting the mission of the organization. Volunteers that do not want their photo used should make this known to the site supervisor and not participate in photos.

Clients provide photo release waivers to authorized WTAP volunteers and/or staff stating whether or not photos can be taken by WTAP and in what capacity they can be used. At no point are volunteers allowed to take photos of refugee clients for personal use.

If a volunteer or client wishes to have a photo taken down for the WTAP website or social media, or its use discontinued, please contact WTAP staff at 602-490-0088×1.
