    Saturday Welcomes

    Make your Saturday count by helping furnish homes for newly arrived refugee families. You’ll pack, deliver, and set up essentials alongside other volunteers as we welcome our newest neighbors

    Donation Sorting

    Help sort and organize incoming donations at our Tempe warehouse. You’ll unload, sort, and shelve essential household items so they’re ready for families in need. It’s active, hands‑on work that makes a big impact.

    Bike Repair

    Help repair bikes for refugee families and support their access to jobs, school, and community. All skill levels welcome. We provide parts—bring tools if you have them and wear clothes you don’t mind getting greasy.

    Mobile Clothing Closet

    Help create a warm, friendly space where newcomer families can choose the clothing they need. You’ll set up tables, guide families to the right sizes, and restock items. This event takes place at various locations, and some light lifting may be involved.

    Donation Packing

    Help pack essential supplies for refugee families at our Tempe warehouse. Using a family’s request list, you’ll gather items and prepare them for delivery. It’s a hands‑on way to support our newest neighbors and connect with fellow volunteers.

    Truck Loading

    Help WTAP staff load furniture and bikes onto our truck so they’re ready for delivery to refugee families. This active role includes lifting items over 45 lbs—closed‑toe shoes and a water bottle are required.
